Babys machen?

(Still) prohibited in Switzerland, permitted in other countries: egg donation. The exhibition « Making babies? Egg Donation and Reproduction Policies » takes a look at this reproductive technique with its social, ethical and economic implications. On display are photographs, audio and video documents on the topic that were created in the course of Laura Perler’s research. The exhibition is linked to the project « Reproductive Geopolitics » of the Social and Cultural Geography Group at the University of Bern. It is accompanied by a workshop and discussion programme that seeks feminist answers to pressing questions.
