Numbers, Shapes and Symbols

The project is part of an analytical, critical and artistic process around the notion of the score, proposing an interpretation of Cornelius Cardew’s graphic score « Treatise » (1967). Coming from dance, music and performance, the performers invent and make possible the conditions necessary for the emergence of concrete actions, through an improvisation directed by defined rules.
It took place at the Fête de la Danse (Fribourg, 2017).
